Hello, My name is Quiasee Mills, and I am running for reelection for the Puyallup Tribe Board of Trustees. I feel I can continue to work and support our Tribe as a whole in my position on the Board of Trustees.
First to let you know I been working for the tribe for 19 years.
I have always believed in the importance of Chief Leschi School. As a graduate of Chief Leschi and parent of three current students, my eldest graduating in June. I believe our Tribe we should always expect the best in academics for our children.
I have served on the Fireworks Commission for 7 yrs, and very proud to be currently serving in the Fisheries Committee for the last 8 years. I was very honored to be elected by the membership for the Trust Board position where I have gratefully have served for the past 5 years. It is a honor to volunteer my time on a non paid Board to serve my people with my whole heart and to represent my tribal membership.
One person cannot change things, but one person can speak for what they believe and in hopes that othe3rs will agree and then things can change. It takes a person that can speak to others with respect and from the heart and the truth. I have stood up for my people always for that’s how I was raised. To me, I have always been here forever, and fore3ver I will speak not for, but with my Tribal membership. So I ask you to vote for me for the position on the Puyallup Tribe Board of Trustees.
Thank you,
Quiasee Mills,
Puyallup Member
