Tribal sovereignty starts with being accountable to the membership as a whole

Dear Tribal Members

It is a very exciting time in our tribe’s history, a time when we can come together and create positive change and start addressing the membership’s needs. As we look to tomorrow, we need to remember our past so we can build on the positive and learn from past mistakes.

Our population is growing at fast rate and in order to keep up with this growth we need to create more business opportunities for the tribe other then just the casino. The port development is finally underway but how long did we have to wait. It is so important to our future that the membership be involved because that’s when things get done.

As members, we know of the promises that have been made and we know of the promises that have been fulfilled.

As members we have the tribes future in our hands and together we can make a difference, together we can create opportunities that will extend far into our children’s future.

The Tribal Council has a very large responsibility not only to provide opportunities for the membership today  but it also needs to prepare for the future of the Tribe.

This means protecting our Tribal Sovereignty, Our Culture and Our Traditions.

Tribal sovereignty starts with being accountable to the membership as a whole.

I would be honored to have your support for a position on our Tribal Council.

Vote for James V. Miles Sr.

Congrats James....now we need new council members to join David & James. The future of our children and their children depend upon it. I have no harsh feelings toward the council, but they have had their opportunity, and some have done good, some have not. We need a council with a smaller "error" margin. I believe the new blood will have the best results.
